Historical/BDSM/Erotic novella... Book 2 in the Blind Cupid series.

Hiding secrets and a past she longs to forget, Hortense Jennings answers an ad for a governess and embarks on an adventure she did not expect.

Concealed in a gothic, crumbling manor on the edge of a North Sea cliff, Baron Simon Wolstenholme is hiding from life. Horribly scarred from battle wounds, he lives up to his name “The Beast of Stonecliff” in both appearance and attitude until he realizes how lonely he has become.

Simon propositions Hortense for a singular night of passion. Raging weather and storms of anger clash between a lonely man and a distrustful woman to reveal secret desires in an emotional crescendo. Can the Governess and the Beast find calm amid the storm and admit their true feelings, or will pride destroy the fairy tale before it begins?

Review:

If you loved Disney's Beauty and the Beast then this is not the book for you. This one is totally different and a little dark. It has a man that was in the war and got scarred on his left side from a cannon going off and a woman that feel on rough times and had to make a living and is now trying to make a better life for herself.

Baron Simon Wolstenholme is known as the Beast of Stoncliff and it's going around town that he can't get it up anymore. He has been without sex for two years and has been in secluse for six months. He puts an ad in the paper saying he needs a governess for his ward.

Lila changed her name to Hortense Jennings so that no one will find out her past. She worked in a brothel because she feel on hard times. When something went wrong the lady of the house paid for her education. When she gets to her job she finds out that he wants a companion instead of a governess for his ward. She gives him one night of passion before she leaves.

This is the second book in this series and I haven't read the first one. I have read several books by this author and I enjoy each and everyone that I get to read. This was a very hot and spicy read. I can't wait to see if there are anymore books in this series.
