If you’re like
me, during this time of year you like to curl up on the couch with a
good book, or snuggle into your sweetheart and watch horror flicks.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the summertime; running around in tank
tops and flip flops, skin darkening from millions of tiny sun kisses,
but there is something about fall that is simply magical. I like
covering up in big sweaters, and sliding on those awesome boots I
found on sale last season. I love watching the leaves change colors,
the smell of pumpkin spice in coffee shops, the staying indoors and
holding close to the people you really love. I love dressing up for
Halloween. Who doesn’t, right?
Well, if you’re
like me, chances are you are enjoying all of these things as well,
but perhaps you are in need of a good book to go with that pumpkin
spice coffee. Look no further! I happen to have in my bag of tricks
just the thing you need.
Joe is the title of my paranormal thriller, and broken down,
it is a story about a psychopath planning a massacre, a stuttering
young girl with visions of the future, and six ordinary people who
will all be in the line of fire come the time of the shooting. It is
a story about love and loss and true heroism. It has that touch of
paranormal flavor I know you love so well, as well as real life
danger and situations. I can guarantee it is unlike anything you have
read. So, while I know we all love Vamps and Weres—I also happen to
have books available concerning those things as well—I humbly
implore you to try something different. Also, since the sequel, White
Sheets, is on the horizon, you might want to catch up. Either
way, a white sheet waits in the future for all of us, doesn’t it?
Just saying.
