Blurb; He’s a playboy who thinks all women are his for the taking. She’s a virgin who has no intention of being taken…

When Dominic Rimeria almost runs Rachel ‘the Madonna’ Matthews over, he has no idea that their meeting is far from a chance occurrence. With her blonde hair, blushes, and blue eyes she is his perfect woman made real. Dominic wants her, and what he wants he gets. It is simply a question of when, not if.

Only Rachel is out to get something else entirely from the Italian billionaire, and if making him burn is what it takes then so be it. After all, she has no intention of submitting…but then she didn’t bank on Dominic’s skills in seduction. Before long, Rachel has to guard against more than just her secrets…she has to guard against her heart too.

Review: Bedded by the Italian Playboy is book #2 in a highly entertaining series written by Emma C Shortt. This book not only has romance, but it is also steamy and funny as well. This time we get to watch the romance unfold between Rachel 'the Madonna' Matthews and Italian Playboy, Dominic Rimeria.

Rachel has been given the job to steal from Dominic by her sisters. Penny and Lyra have their own "marks" to worry about, but this job is perfect for Rachel as the wealthy Italian loves his women "pure and biddable." Rachel is as pure as they come, as she is still a virgin; however Dominic is not supposed to get that close to her according to plans. What the sisters never anticipated was that Dominic has his own play, and he is desperate to seduce Rachel into his bed. Rachel figures out real quick that she is in way over her head, but she is falling for the playboy and there is no turning back. Dominic is positive that once he gets his "fill" of Rachel then he can let her go and move on to his next conquest. Will this couple be able to move on, or will they find out that once they give into desire, there is no turning back.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction between Dominic and Rachel. At first I felt sorry for the Playboy, as he fell hard and fast for Rachel without knowing that she was playing him. As his own plan of seducing her started to develop, then I felt that he deserved whatever he was going to get! I found this story highly entertaining, and at times even very funny. I enjoyed it even more than the first book and can honestly say that I am extremely anxious to read the final book in this series. One of the scenes in this book was very emotional and I found myself on the edge of my chair, and feeling the emotions right along with the characters. I love this series, and again I am impressed with Emma C Shortt storytelling. There were editing issues again, which is why the four star rating. This series is a must read for romance lovers everywhere.
