REVIEW:Two people meet, and are about to change each other's lives in ways they'd never imagined.

Those Violet Eyes begins with Win rolling into town. He's a man with many ghosts and fears, and he's a bit gruff, but once he meets and works with Evie, she learns to see past that. Win is amazing. He's soft on the inside, but it takes a lot for him to show that side of himself. He's a protector, he'll make sure that no one messes with those he cares about and loves. I was so drawn to Win. That man has gone through hell and back. Evie is the perfect woman for him.

Evie isn't without her own flaws though. She's stuck in a situation she hates, most people that don't know how call her cold and frgid. Her brother, a real jerk, emotional abuser, and did I mention jerk?- hangs things over her head all the time. She tries to make the best of it but what she really wants is an escape.  In some ways, Evie acts like a doormat, but with Win's help and insight, she's ready to change that.

This is a powerful, emotional story that I could not put down. The attraction between Win and Evie is imminent from the start, and i loved reading about the ways the pair has helped and made things better for one another. They are a great balance.

Vonnie Davis is going to be known for well written stories that readers devour. I've added Ms. Davis to my auto buy list, ebcause I've come to know when I pick up a book with the name Vonnie Davis, that I'm going to read a beautiful love story filled with emotion, tortured heroes that find their ever lasting love, and strong heroines that will do anything for the man they love.

Those Violet Eyes is a contemporary romance you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it!
