Brock is a confident Dom that knows his way around a woman’s body but no matter how many women he beds none of them can banish the one woman that haunts him daily. Hopelessly in love with the only woman he can’t have and that really sticks in his gut. Vivian is everything he has ever wanted and can never have.
Vivian has taken some tough knock from life. She found the strength to beat cancer, and leave her jerk of a husband. But one man left an empty hole in her heart when he just up and left one day. Now that she’s plowing down all the obstacles that have stood in her way he’s next on the list. She has to know why Brock felt leaving and not saying goodbye was okay.
This story was off the charts hot! It’s not just another submissive story either. I got attached to these characters and the author had me feeling their happiness, sorrow and passion.
Brock is a Dom but he loves VIvi and that shows through in this story. Even though he is the Dom, she has him wrapped around her finger. Vivi struggles to come to terms with his sex life. In the end it all came down to trust. How much do you really trust the person you love? Are you willing to give them complete control and know they would never abuse that control? This is the dilemma that Vivi struggles with.
I would recommend this story to anyone that like a little Dominance and Submission mixed with their romance. And this is a romance. Don’t let the title fool you. Kudos to Brandi Evans for burning up the pages and taking readers on a journey about trust.
