Wake Up in the Arms of a Vampire.

Sebastian is an ancient vampire who has lived in the forest for centuries living off the blood of any unwary villager who happens to cross his path.

Teran has grown up in the shadow of the great forest, unwanted and unloved.  When she comes of age and her loveliness sparks the interest of the men in town, her life becomes even harder.

When the vampire rescues her from a near rape, he finds himself enthralled with her beauty and her quiet courage.  Teran falls in love with the brooding stranger, but when he breaks his word and steals her mind, she runs from him.

But Sebastian can’t forget her and vows to win her back.  Will Teran forgive him?  Will they have a chance at eternity forever?

Review: This book is about a girl who is unsatisfied in her life, and a vampire who has been lonely and unsatisfied in his 400 years of living.
Tehran and Sebastian meet when Tehran is running from men who are trying to hurt her. Sebastian intervenes and immediately takes note how beautiful this woman is. He becomes entranced by her; especially because she is not intimidated by him in any way. Never before has Sebastian ever met someone who was not scared of him.
Tehran has never trusted anyone in her life but for reasons unknown to her she finds herself putting her trust into Sebastian. She stays with him and they grow closer but then he does something to ruin her trust and a conflict arises.
I found this short story to be an endearing romantic read. For a short story it delivered a good depth to the characters and why they are the way they are. Often with a short story, you do not get an in depth look at the characters but the author did a wonderful job with giving you some history.
I was able to identify with Tehran especially when Sebastian did something that ruined her trust. I became emotionally involved right along side both Sebastian and Tehran as they go through their conflict and struggle to come to terms with each others actions.
I recommend this to anyone who likes a brooding, possessive, sexy vampire, and who enjoys a little bit of steam thrown in!
All in all, this was a great read, with well thought out characters who were very easy to relate to and like. I will for sure be checking out further books written by the author who was able to capture my attention and involve my emotions while I was reading this book.
