REVIEW:
This book was an awesome read. The story begins with Jessie coming to Boston from England to be with her friend Chloe. They are planning to open up a law firm together, so Jessie was going to get settled in and start on their future. Soon Jessie finds out that Chloe is missing and this begins her search to find out what happened to her friend.
A week later, a clue brings Jessie to Club Submission in search of her friend. This is where she meets "Master Zane" who is a successful business man that likes to dominate at night.. Attraction sparks between the two and soon they join forces to look for Jessie's friend as well as start up a dom/sub exchange between each other.
This story takes you into the BDSM world through both the “Master’s” point of  view, as well as the submissives’. I found that I thoroughly enjoyed getting the feel of Master Zane and what feelings he went through as he dominated Jessie. This is the first book that I have found a Master’s p.o.v. included in the story. The author also takes you through Jessie’s journey as she fights to stay an independent woman even though her heart tells her she needs to submit to a Master. The story flows at a good pace and includes hot, steamy, sex as well as a little mystery thrown in to keep you on the edge of your seat.
This is the first book in the series and I look forward to the next one. Jan Bowles includes a glimpse of some of the other Masters, which is a tease for future stories to come. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a steamy and exciting read. Master of Submission is a quick read; but make sure you have enough time because you won’t want to put it down!
