Review: Gold Coast Wives

Title: Gold Coast Wives

Author: Bernadette Walsh

Publisher: Lyrical Press

Genre: Contemporary romance, fiction

Length:  179 pages

Reviewer: Nikki

Review rating: 4 LIGHTNING BOLTS

Blurb:

Three skinny socialites should be a pushover after the rough and tumble world of Wall Street. Right?

Kate Ryan may be au fait with making high-powered legal decisions but she's about to submit to the rules of reality TV, where nothing is what it seems. Who'd have thought a few days with the cameras rolling for a low-rent cable show would be so challenging, or that the claws of a former homecoming queen, a washed-up soap star and a whiny cat-lover would be so sharp

REVIEW:
It's the chance of a lifetime. With nothing else left to lose, Kate jumps on board.

Gold Coast Wives is a fun, fast paced story about life in the reality show business. There's a lot of quirky characters, there's a bit of fighting and over jealous people, but yeah, that's to be expected in a realty tv setting. I really enjoyed this story. It made me laugh, and the plot concept was really great.

Bernadette Walsh has a fresh and exiting voice that makes for a pleasurable read when picking up this author's story. This is my first read, and I would definitely look for more titles from Ms. Walsh.  What an entertaining story.
