Hi, Timothy, welcome to Storm Goddess Book Reviews. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!

Tell me a bit about yourself, and your writing.

I am currently a work at home father caring for my 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son. That doesn't leave much time or energy for writing but I try to work whenever I can. I believe in "little is large" and by that I mean almost no one really works in ideal circumstances, but by using what one does have it can build up to somewhat important and substantial. Some days I have so little time but I'll find ten or twenty minutes somewhere and over the course of weeks and months I end up with a few hundred pages. I never dismiss a few minutes because it isn't enough time to get anything done, it's enough to get something done which adds up to getting a lot done.

How long have you been writing? Did you always know you wanted to be a writer?

Yes, ever since I was a kid. It's all I've ever wanted to do.

What are your favorite genres to read?

I like works that make me think. I like stories where someone is challenged in a spiritual sense.

How many books do you have published? What genre?
Two. Contemporary fiction.

Do you write in multiple genres, or do you just stay with one? If you do not write in more than one genre, do you ever consider it? So far, I have not crossed into multiple genres. I do plan on writing a series which will be a new experience.

What are some of your passions and hobbies outside of writing? I play piano, guitar, and violin. I write music and I plan to record a CD using all three instruments. It will be a mix of Jazz, Rock, and Classical.

Are you a plotter or do you write from the seat of your pants?
I don't really make outlines but I'll write down rough ideas where I think the story is going and where it will end up and then go from there. Although, with The Finding I just sat down and began with The main character's truck not starting and just went from there.

Name four books that stay on your keeper shelf. The Great Gatsby, The Sound and The Fury, Arthur Rimbaud Complete Works, A Moveable Feast.

Ebooks or print, which do you prefer? Print mostly but I am warming up to ebooks.

What is a talent you wish you had, but don't?I wish I knew how to put new brakes on my car so I wouldn't have to sit there waiting for someone else to do it.

What are you working on now? Dream Dots. It is a mystery with the clues coming from dreams and then a love story breaks out.

What is a typical writing day/schedule like for you? I write mostly in the morning when the house is quiet and the coffee fresh and late at night when the house is again quiet. I carry notebooks with me everywhere and I've done a lot of writing while in my car waiting to pick up my kids from school.

Does your mood influence what you write, or read? It can, if I'm feeling down the writing can get a little dark, some of that I can use in what I'm working on.

What genre of writing style would you like to see make a comeback? Westerns, that way if my Grandfather is reincarnated he will have something he enjoys to read. As a child I remember him sitting on the porch with a copy of Zane Grey in his hands

If you could travel anywhere and do anything, no limits or money
holding you back, where would you go? Somewhere with lots of land, sun, some water, peaceful, with someone special by my side.
