Character Interview: Brad and Melody from The Mistletoe Melody

I'm really excited to be part of this tour! I've loved all of the Brookhollow stories, and will continue to badger the author for more. Today I'm happy to bring you a character interview with the hero and heroine from The Mistletoe Melody.

Character Interview with Melody Myers and Brad Monroe

Welcome guys to Storm Goddess Book Reviews! Thank you for hanging out with us today and getting up close and personal about your relationship.

Melody laughs and asks Brad- “Are we calling it a ‘relationship’?
Brad-“Yes, we are.” He takes her hand and kisses it.

Storm Goddess Reviews-**Swoon** “Okay, let’s get into the questions. First one is for Melody. What was your first thought when you saw Brad in Brookhollow for the first time since the accident?”

Melody-“That I hope he would be leaving right away.”

Brad pouts. “I deserved that.”

Melody-“But that changed…slowly and unexpectedly…”

Storm Goddess Reviews-“So, the more time you spent together, it was easier to put the past behind you and move on?”

Melody-“It was never easy, but it was something I had to do, and as my feelings grew for Brad, it was easier to give myself permission to forgive him.”

Storm Goddess Reviews-“Brad-how did you feel about going back home to record the Christmas Country Music special after being away so long?”

Brad-“Terrified. I had avoided the past so long, I had no idea what to expect. In a way, I’d built it up even worse in my mind.”

Storm Goddess Reviews-“Okay, a question for both of you-when did you first realize you were falling in love?”

Brad-“That’s an easy one-The moment I saw and heard Mel sing at the Mayor’s holiday party. Leading up to that moment, I knew my feelings for her had moved beyond friendship and a shared past…but once I saw how she lit up on that stage, I was done. She had me…even though she didn’t want me.” He laughs.

Storm Goddess Reviews-“And Mel-same question-When did you realize you were falling in love?”

Melody-“I knew I had feelings for him when I took him out of the hockey game…”

Brad rubs his head. “I still have the lump.”

Melody hits him.
Melody-“But the moment of truth came when he kissed me in the sleigh ride through the park. A kiss doesn’t lie.”

Storm Goddess Reviews-“And what about the boys? How did they feel?”

Melody-“They were always close to Brad and in a way having him in their lives again has filled a hole that they’ve had since their father died. They see a lot of the same qualities in Brad as they did in Patrick and it’s been good for them…good for me too.”

Brad looks lovingly at her.

Storm Goddess Reviews-“Okay, I just have one more-what’s next for you guys? Can we expect marriage? Another child, maybe?”

Both smile. Brad winks-“For now, you can expect more hit songs.”

Storm Goddess Reviews-“Great, we’ll take it! Thank you so much guys for stopping by!”

Melody-“Thank you for having us.”
