Kissing Mr. Scrooge
The DataMatch Series, Book One
by Kary Rader

They say, when you graduate from high school the world is your oyster. When you graduate from college you’re just expected to make a lot of clams. Now that Madeline Timms, Maddie to her friends—has graduated, she’s in search of those elusive clams. That’s where her boss, Nathaniel Rothwell Henry Scorge, III, comes in, and he’s agreed to pay her well—like six figures well—to meet his every demand.
He’s your typical mean, bellowing, driven, goal-oriented, CEO, workaholic, high-tech visionary. Unfortunately, he’s also the most sexually charged man she’s ever met—like inside-melting attractive. Too hot to handle but too cold to notice, he’s oblivious to the raging passion between them—but that could just be in her own mind.
Now he’s ordered her on a three-day business trip to Atlanta, where she’ll miss a traditional Christmas Eve at home. Mom is not happy. But what will be worse: disappointing her family or navigating three days alone with her own personal sexy Mr. Scrooge.

Kissing Mr. Scrooge is the first in a serial romance collection of five couples focused on a high-tech company, SC Endeavors, and its revolutionary new dating software called DataMatch.
While the romance in each story is stand-alone, the surrounding elements build from one story to the next. The DataMatch Serial is my homage to the soap operas of my youth—Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, Young and the Restless.
The executives at SC Endeavors believe they can come within a .02 accuracy of compatibility, and are willing to put their hearts on the line by being the first five to undergo the matching process. Unfortunately the process is still in the testing stage. There could be hiccups. Actually there will be hiccups—big ones.

Book Two
Seducing Dr. Cupid is centered around the world-renowned geek scientist, Simon Huxtley who invented the DataMatch Compatibility test and his hot new assistant, Betsy Drake. Valentine Theme

Book Three
Getting Mr. Lucky is about the head of marketing, Lucy Fuery and her new chauvinistic marketing executive, Lucas Luck. St. Patrick’s Day Theme

Book Four
Killing Casanova is centered around bad boy COO, Jared Cassidy and his by-the-book assistant, Violet Murphy

Book Five
Romancing The Dragonlady is about the feared head of HR, Molly Dresden and her new recruiter, Chris Lachey. Halloween Theme

Book Six
Marrying Mr. Scrooge is the finale that releases next Christmas.

I hope readers enjoy the building story as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. Here are the buy links for Kissing Mr. Scrooge.
