Review: Almost Forgotten

Book Title: Almost Fogotten by Carey Decevito
Publisher: Self Published

Jake had it all: women, money, great looks. For all intents and purposes, he was happy.

A series of women and an unexpected appearance by a ghost from his past cause him to re-evaluate his life.

She'd broken his heart, all those years ago, and Jake chose to live the life of a bachelor there on out. Along with his fast-paced career, he ran a fast-paced social life. It's what worked for him. Or he'd convinced himself it did.

The loneliness his large home presented the minute the housekeeper went home and the women that warmed his bed deserted him, left him wanting. Could he have what so many of his friends already did: the woman, the family, the house with the white picket fence? Maybe. But just because he desired these things, things he'd sworn off ages ago, doesn't mean that they were destined for him.

Review:

Jake knows that he has not been a good person lately especially with women. He has good reason though because he is still mending a broken heart. Everybody around him say he is crazy to want Danica. It’s been 15 years since he last seen her and just one glimpse of her again everything goes upside down in his life. The heartache and pain is still there yet he wants answers more than ever. Danica knows that Jake is and always will be the one for him. Even thought 15 years have passed she has never forgotten about him and now her secret is about to come out. She knows she has a lot of things to say yet the passion with Jake is stronger than ever.  Can she finally tell Jake her secret without losing her heart to him all over again?

Okay this is the first I have read from Carey Decevito and have to say I really liked this book. At first it was a little hard because it was mostly Jakes point of view, his heartache, his lusty ways and most of his entire take in how he has tried surviving without Danica. Carey Decevito not only packed the book with so many secrets, betrayal and passion it was hard to not feel sorry for Danica. This is definitely a book you don’t want to pass up I mean just the sex between them is hot. Jake and Danica are definitely two people who deserve a second chance loved it.
