Review: She's a rebel, a bad girl, the talk of the town. In fact, her whole family seems to be. Valerie has a reputation. She's done some bad girl things and the name seems to follow her everywhere to this day. But don't try to piss her off, she's gone one sharp witted tongue! I instantly liked her! Sure, she's got a rep, but so what, don't we all? Her father always feels the need to take over her life, or try to. Well she's done that once and came away heartbroken. Not that she'll really let you know that or anything.
Then we have Justin. A Marine and a man with family troubles of his own. He and Valerie are a great match, if she'd only open her heart. The sexual tension between the two sizzle. There's push and pull as Valerie has a stubborn streak more than a mile wide. Add in family drama, town drama, and so much more and you get a great read! The characters are well developed. Some you love, some you hate, some are in between depending on what they're doing at the time. It's a great page turner that kept me engrossed all day. Bring on more!
