Review: Game of Love is a sweet and sexy friends to lovers kind of story. Dex and Ellie have been friends for years, fading in and out of each other's lives recently, but now she's back....and as protective with her heart as ever. She seems lost, confused, and not sure what to do, but having Dex in her world again makes things seem better.
Not quite so. Ellie has A LOT of trust issues. She's very back and forth. To a point, i can understand that, but it went on a little too much. The first part of the book didn't grab me as intensely, the real guts and emotion of the story didn't happen until later. I was instantly curious about Ellie and what made her the way she was. So reserved. Dex is hot! And oh yeah, lovable, too.
I enjoyed the story, I just wasn't as in love with it as I have been with others. Still, it's a good addition to the series and I really need to keep up with more.
