Tell me about yourself, and your writing.

I write contemporary romance novels with heat, heart and humor.

How long have you been writing? How many published books do you have, and what genres?

For a long, long time! Far Too Tempting is my 5th novel this year and I have one more slated for November.

Do you write in multiple genres or just one? If just one, do you ever consider straying outside your genre?

Yes, I also write YA novels under another name. I love the variety!

Are you a plotter or do you write from the seat of your pants?

I plot and then pants! I do start each book with a basic outline - some are more detailed than others. But without an outline, I’m lost. The outline helps focus me each day and guide my characters through their journey.

What is a typical writing day like for you?

Fueled by green tea and chocolate, I race, race, race against deadlines! I write every day, usually several hours a day, and I also spend a fair amount of time interacting with readers via social media. I love it!

Who do you love to read? Favorite authors, favorite books?

I love young adult novels, new adult and romance. Some of my favorite writers are Monica Murphy, Samanthe Beck, Danielle Steel, Tara Simone, Kendall Ryan, Stephanie Perkins and Audrey Niffenegger.

If you could have one paranormal ability, what would it be?

I would like to apparate.

If you could keep a mythical/ paranormal creature as a pet, what would you have?

A pegasus. I would use it to fly to school to pick up my kids.

Tell us a little about your latest release.

Far Too Tempting is my rock star romance. It’s sexy, funny and heartfelt and features a delicious British hero!

What is something that you absolutely can't
live without? (Other than family members)

Caffeine. Without it, I literally cannot function.

If you could spend a day with anyone from history, dead or alive, who would it be, and what
would you do? What would you ask them?

Van Gogh. I would encourage him to keep painting and living!

What are some of your other hobbies outside of writing?

I enjoy spending time with my dogs, and my family, and watching movies, and hunting down off-the-beaten-path diners and coffee shops.

What is something you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet. Why not?

Go to London. It’s expensive!

If you were on the staff to have a book adapted to movie, what would you pick?

Far Too Tempting, of course!! Jane and Matthew would be awesome on screen!

What is a talent you wish you had, but don't?

I would like to be able to sing.

Purple.

Weather: Hot or cold?

Hot.

Favorite place to read?

By the pool.

Pizza.

Favorite non-alcoholic drink.

If you could travel anywhere and do anything, no limits or money holding you back, where
would you go?

Fiji, to one of those huts over the water.
