Review: Shane and Allie have been friends, good friends for awhile. Allie's past is something she's not fond of thinking about, and it begins to haunt her. Her feelings for Shane are strong, more than just friends, and he feels the same. They begin a relationship together after finally admitting that they want more than just what they have.
This is an enjoyable story. There's plenty of chemistry between Shane and Allie. I ADORE how protective he is over her. You can tell he would do absolutely anything for her. He's a perfect alpha hero with plenty of sweet moments that made me go "Aww"
The problem I had was I didn't feel fully emotionally connected to the characters. I mean, this story has a lot of emotional highs and lows, but I couldn't fully feel that. I think for me, it might have been the writing style which didn't help me in getting that connection. I haven't read the first story, but I'm very intrigued by Jesse and want to read about his HEA. This is a good book, enjoyable read, even with what I had a problem with and I would definitely look for more books from this author.
