Welcome, Caitlin! Glad to have you with us today! Congratulations on your story being released into the wild!

So tell me, how did you approach your author about your story? I'm well aware of how those like you just pop up out of nowhere

Caitlin Mulcahy (Heroine of One Day in Apple Grove): My sisters and I have wanted C.H. to tell our story for a long time now. When her editor asked if she’d like to write a small town contemporary story, we started to bug her; waking her up nights and badgering her to tell our story. Three sisters who take over the family handyman business from their father. Hey, we aren’t afraid of power tools! LOL!

Is there a talent you wish you had, but currently don't have?

Caitlin Mulcahy: I wish I had Meg’s talent with plumbing and Grace’s computer skills ..but then they’d probably want me to run the business all by myself!

Without getting you in to trouble… what is your biggest turn off?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Know-it-alls…well except for my sisters. They do tend to think they know everything, but they’re my sisters so it’s not a big deal. Now other people…that’s a whole other story.

Biggest turn on?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Broad shoulders, strong working-man hands, and a killer smile.

Other than loved ones and the absolute necessities, what is one thing you can't live without?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Chocolate.

Favorite way to relax and wind down?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Other than downtime with handsome Jack Gannon and Jamie (the cutest puppy you’ll ever meet)? Reading Romance…like my sisters, I’m a big reader of romance.

Where is a place you'd love to travel to?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Ireland.

Biggest fear?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Doing or saying something stupid and hurting the people I love.

Do you have ANY idea what your author is working on next?

Caitlin Mulcahy: I do…for the moment, there aren’t any more Apple Grove stories, but C.H. is working on a historical Western. Keep your fingers crossed that her editor likes it! Then maybe after that she will get back to Apple Grove and catch readers up on what’s going on.

What good quality to you think you bring out in one another?

Caitlin Mulcahy: She tells my story and I get to invite people to Apple Grove for a little while to help them escape from everyday life.

What is your favorite line from your story? Why?

Caitlin Mulcahy: Jack tightened his grip on her hand and drew her a little closer. “Hands do so many other things too.” We both make our living with their hands and appreciate the strength in them, as well as the many things they can do…leaving it to your imagination to fill in some of the blanks. :-)

Well, I know you are busy, so I don't want to keep you all day, but is there anything you'd like to share?

Caitlin Mulcahy: If you haven’t had a chance to read Jack, Jamie and my story yet…you’ll love it!

ONE DAY IN APPLE GROVE BY C.H. ADMIRAND – IN STORES JUNE 2013
Welcome to Apple Grove, Ohio (pop. 597), a small town with a big heart.

Caitlin Mulcahy loves her family. She really does. But sometimes they can drive her to her last shred of sanity—from her dad ("I'm not meddling, I just want what's best for you") to her eight-months-pregnant older sister to her younger sister, who will do just about anything to avoid real work. Cait just needs to get away, even if for only an hour.

When she sees someone in need of help on the side of the road, of course she's going to pull over. She might even be able to fix his engine—after all, the Mulcahy family is a handy bunch. She's not expecting that former Navy medic Jack Gannon and a little black puppy named Jameson will be the ones who end up rescuing in her.

Praise for One Day in Apple Grove

  1. Fun character interview! I love romance books about small towns, families and women taking over their father's mostly male dominated businesses....and this book has all three! Hopefully C.H. will write the sisters stories too!
