Blurb: Lizzie has been in love with her best friend, Tom, ever since high school but has never told him. At a party, after catching his girlfriend Nicole cheating with some other guy, drunk Tom crashes at Lizzie’s apartment. He makes a move but she turns him down because she values their friendship too much. Tom’s not done trying to convince her to take the plunge and let him love her the way he should have done a long time ago. Will they get it on and stay together?

REVIEW: I enjoyed reading this book about Lizzie and Tom. It was just 20 pages but it would be a book that I would read again.

I can understand why Lizzie would want to wait until Tom is sober before sleeping with him. How do you know if someone is on the rebound or if they really want to be with you. I didn't like Tom's ex-girlfriend and his friends that he drank with left you wondering why does he even hang out with these losers?

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I could see myself reading more from her. The way she wrote this short novel makes me want to try something longer. She did a great job with her characters and bringing forth the feelings they both had.
