Review: Alpha In Hiding

Title: Alpha In Hiding
Author: Lea Barrymire

Publisher: Ellora's Cave

Genre: paranormal

Length: Short novel

Reviewer: Nikki

Review Rating: 4.5 LIGHTNING BOLTS

Blurb: It’s tough being the Alpha’s daughter. Emily Prescott spends half her life helping to manage the pack’s business and the other half putting horny hewolves in their place. When her father sends her on a mission to bring a weak wolf into his shifter side, it seems like just another pain in her ass—until her bitch perks up and takes notice.
Seth has spent years fighting to keep his wolf at bay, but something about Emily brings out the animal in him. Wild sex with Emily turns into an uncontrollable urge to mate her and make her his. But Emily needs a strong mate—someone who can dominate and defend her. If weak, geeky Seth wants to woo her, he has some changing to do.

Review: Wow! I really loved this book! I saw it a while ago and added it to my wish list / TBR. I am so sad now that it took me so long to get to it! It was so good! Emily is the pack Alpha's daughter and has yet to find a worthy male to mate with. Seth is a lone wolf who has never embraced his beastie side, therefore he knew pretty much nothing about being a shifter. Emily is tasked by her dad to help him bring out his inner wolf in order for her to escape the monthly ritual of a pack run where all the shifters look for a mate, only Emily ends up fighting off unworthy males.  Not so much fun I gather! :) So after a weekend away in a remote cabin in the woods, not only does Emily help Seth connect with his inner wolf, turns out Seth's wolf is also an Alpha! Has Emily finally found her perfect match? The one wolf who can get hers to submit? You'll have to read to find out! :) I really enjoyed this one! The writing was great. The characters were well developed and the story flowed very nicely. I never wanted to put it down! The romance was hot and sexy and everything I love in a Paranormal Romance! I loved watching Seth acclimate himself with his wolf side and come out of his shell. He and Emily were a great pair!
