Lucky In Love Blog Hop

Welcome to the Lucky In Love blog hop! Thanks for
hopping here on my site :)

I'll admit, i am lucky in love. Married for almost three years (Anniversary 3 in June) and though we've had our bumps, it's been a great ride. I have a husband that appreciates me and does what he can for me.  He tells me all the time that he's so lucky.

It's funny, because whether it's by luck or chance, I don't know. To think about it, before we got together, we both made decisions in our life that ended up leading us to one another. What if we took another path in our lives?  So I'd have to say it's by both. Luck and chance.   That's how I feel about that. :)

For St Patrick's day, I'll be wearing green, including a four leaf clover anklet that I made. It will be warm enough outside for shorts so I can show it off.

Are you lucky in love? What are your St Patrick's Day festivities?

  1. Well...I'm not lucky in love but I do plan to just hang out on St. Patrick's Day - will be going to my nieces piano recital and having a traditional Irish dinner. Thanks for the giveaway

  3. I don't know that luck has any bearing on having a successful relationship. It's a whole lot of work. I married my high school sweetheart right out of high school. We have been married for 17 years.

  5. I don't know that I'm lucky in love but right now I'm good enough :D Married and happily so, so I guess that might mean I am in some ways. I'm happy in love anyway!
Usually we don't do a lot for St. Patrick's Day aside from watch a parade or two on TV (it's far too cold some years, like this one, to go out and find one to watch outside!).
Thank you for the chance to enter :D Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone :)

  6. I agree with Carla. relationships are a lot of work, but it is worth it for the right man. My lucky love is my husband of 23 years. When we first met I had just had a very bad break up with my last boyfriend. I spent most of the evening telling him what I would and would not put up with in a relationship. He asked me out in spite of my attitude, and the rest is history. We got married 5 years later and are still very much in love.
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win. <^_^>

  14. Since I married at the age of forty, I'd say I'm lucky in love. That's what you call beating the odds! For St. Pat's Day, I'll be listening to Irish music and drinking beer, but it won't be green! I'm a traditionalist. ;)

  49. I have been incredibly lucky. I met my hubby just days after my 16th birthday; he was my best friend's boyfriend's roommate. We started dating immediately, total lust at first sight lol, but it turned to love and we'll have been together 16 years this summer. Through thick and thin, we've made it longer than most and from a very young age. The cool thing? My best friend and his roommmate are married too! I hope your 3 years turn into many more for you too!

  56. Know all about luck to find your love. I was apartment hunting. I moved into the first one that said yes after they reviewed my paperwork. Few months later they were renovating the empty apartments and those of us still living there had to move into the completed apartments so they could do ours. Well, my new next door neighbor had her BIL helping. He and I got married about 6 years later(but living together after only about two years) and were together til the day cancer took him from us.
