Review: Battle Heat

Title: Battle Heat

Author: Kelly L. Lee

Publisher: Noble Romance

Genre: paranormal

Reviewer: Tabitha

Review Rating: 4.5 LIGHTNING BOLTS

Blurb: Holly Okeanos is alone, held against her will by the immortal that destroyed her people, she’s desperate for revenge and vows to fight until her last breath to regain her freedom.

The beast inside Ares must feed. He’s struggled to control the blood lust since the dawn of time, but only carnage sates the monster within. Holly tries to provoke him at every turn, but merely thinking of her calms the beast and settles his mind.

With an escalating rebellion and a resurrected Scarab to defeat, Ares doesn’t have time to deal with his infuriatingly beautiful captive, or answer the questions he asks himself every time she’s near. Could she be the woman to quiet the beast inside him? If she is, how will they overcome thousands of years of hatred between their races. .. and each other?

Review: A romance that rivals Romeo and Juliet. Vengeful Gods that will stop at nothing to get their way set the stage for Battle Heat.

Ares has lived a cursed life literally. His mother Hera will stop at nothing to get her strong willed son to conform to her demands. But Ares refuses to bend to anyones rules. Warriors like Ares don't debate they fight!

Holly is enslaved by Ares and Zeus but she refuses to lay down and give in. She sill fight for freedom or die trying!

Romance and heat fills the pages when this very unlikely couple converge.

I really loved this story. The H/H were both very strong and loved with the onslaught of a wildfire. I would recommend this story to anyone that likes a strong willed H/H or someone that loves the battle of the Greek Gods.

Happy Reading,
