Cherish switches work assignments so she can interview hunky Carter, the hometown hero who’s returned to lead his new football team to victory. They’d shared the last dance at prom ten years ago, and she’s fantasized about him ever since. But he’s always been out of reach. Until now…

Carter is solely focused on his career, and isn’t looking for any distractions. When Cherish hijacks the interview, he’s blown away by how sensational the object of his secret desire looks—and by her risqué proposition for a no-strings-attached, one-night stand. It’s just about sating lust, right?

Passion easily sparks between them, but there are many hurdles to jump before their needs becoming Wanted Distractions.

Review:  This is a story about two people reuniting and finding love.  The last time they saw each other was when they shared a very sweet kiss during their senior prom.  Ten years later and all grown up, Cherish is a journalist and Carter is a professional football player.  They reunite shortly after Cherish discovers her coworker Taylor has planned to interview Carter and Cherish convinces her to switch assignments and let her do the interview instead.  Needless to say Carter is pleasantly surprised when he finds out it is Cherish.  He is extremely sexy and she is certainly not the same girl she was back then.  They soon realize sparks are flying and then Cherish makes her move. After some talking and passionate kissing they both decide to settle for one night of intense lovemaking.  When Cherish realizes she feels something so much more she takes off.  Carter understands but deep down, what they have talked about, isn't what he truly wants so the question is, will these two finally figure out that they are in love and really never stopped thinking about one another?  I do recommend this book and my only complaint was that it was too short.  Great story with good strong characters. Cherish was presumptuous, petite and gorgeous, while Carter is tall and very good looking with his dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.  Very light, enjoyable read.
