Review: Naked and Unleashed
Title: Naked and Unleashed
Author: Emily Ryan-Davis
Publisher: Ellora’s Cave
Length: 64 Pages
Rating: 3 LIGHTNING BOLTS
Blurb: Book 2 in the Taken in Bondage Series
Aesthetician Callista has major lust for one of her house-call clients and her attraction only has a little to do with his highly impressive package. Respectable businessman by day, dangerous Dom by night, Mikal possesses an underlying darkness that sets fire to her most taboo fantasies. If only he’d force her to have sex with him, he’d be her perfect lover.
Something about Callista calls to Mikal’s darkest instincts, but he works hard to suppress his predatory urges and aggressive desires. He doesn’t want the kind of trouble that comes from indulging them. When Callista endangers herself in a bid to satisfy her own forbidden needs, his resolve fractures. Her surrender belongs to him, her body is his to command, trouble be damned.
Reader Advisory: Callista’s highly charged sexual journey takes her to some dark places. Thank goodness she has Mikal to fulfill her every need!
Naked and Unleashed is a dark BDSM read.
Callista goes to Mikal house once a week to shave his private parts. She uses a razor instead of waxing. She’s also been having a sexual relationship with him for awhile. Callista starts having some dark fantasies. She likes to feel pain when she has sex. It seems to make it hotter for her.
Mikal works at a BDSM club. He was in a Dom/Sub relationship but she took it too far and tried to take charges out on him. Each time that Callista comes over he starts wanting more from her but is afraid to get in too deep. Since his family is rich and it would hurt their business if anything got out.
Callista gets in over her head when she goes to the club that Mikal works at. I like BDSM books but this one has a really dark side to it. Has cutting with knives. I just couldn’t imagine myself wanting to pretend that I was being raped to make myself get in the mood. I also don’t want a lot of pain when I’m with a man. So this story was well written. The plot was good and was pretty interesting it just wasn’t one of my ideas of a steamy read.
If your into the whole pain and having to pretend about things that most people wouldn’t get turned on about. I would recommend this book to you. Unfortunately I wasn’t into this book.
