Follow Me Friday: Blog Style

Hi! Welcome to Follow Me Friday: Blog Style! I believe that book bloggers should help one another, because well, we all have one thing in common- the love of blogging, and books. I've had the pleasure of meeting and networking with some great bloggers out there, and my little tribute to everyone is to start up this fun Friday post! The power of uniting has helped Storm Goddess Book Reviews & More grow into what it is today, and I'm not about to forget the help I've gotten to achieve this goal. My hopes in starting this is to get other blogs some more followers, whether they are a well known blog or a small one, a blog that's just starting out. I'm here to help.

This Friday I'd like to feature (Http://www.nikkiprince.blogspot.com and Http://www.epicallyromanticbyebonydreams.blogspot.com) The owner/creator of this blog is (Nikki Prince) I hope you'll follow along as I ask some questions pertaining to the blog, and a few fun questions. Ready? Let's begin!

Hi! Welcome to Storm Goddess Book Reviews and More! I'm really excited about this, and glad that you have taken part of the fun!

So, tell us a little bit about yourself!
I am a mother of two young kids and I have always wanted to write since the age of 12. I have been reading romance books that long. Yep I was the kid who would hide them in between schoolbooks so I could get my reading in, hide them under my bed etc etc. This of course drove my mother crazy, but least now I know she is proud of me with the writing. See mom it did pay off. :)

What made you decide to start a blog? I started epically romantic because I wanted to get my foot into the romance industry somehow and to jump-start myself reading along with writing romance again. Once I started back writing and got my first contract recently I decided I needed an authors blog and hence the Nikki Prince blog.

How did you come up with a blog name? I love reading at epic portions so...epically romantic was born. Nikki Prince is my pen name for my writing so that one was easy.

How many people do you have on staff, and how do you decide who does what job? It's just me.

How long has your blog been live/active? Epically Romantic has been live since June 10, 2011 so about to have a year anniversary. My author blog has been around only since March 25, 2012.

What type of things do you do? Services you provide? On Epically Romantic I have an authors spotlight that I do on Wednesdays (when I have some available) and I also do author interviews along with book reviews.

How do you go about spreading the word about your blog, and the posts? I share on facebook, I tweet on twitter.

What's the best thing about blogging?
I love reading the different books out there.

What's the hardest thing about being a blogger? Time. Not enough of it.

Besides blogging, what are some of your other hobbies and passions? Writing and gaming. I am a huge gamer. I play World of Warcraft and other games.

Which author have you not hosted on your blog that you'd LOVE to have? God there are too many really. Though I would really like to have some aspiring or new authors because let's face it, it's hard to get yourself out there.

How does one go about getting a review request to you? On my page, I have a review request spot. Though right now I am not currently taking any reviews.

How does one go about becoming a reviewer for you? I have seriously thought of doing this I just need to figure out how to go about it really. Since my writing is taking off I will need at least one to two others helping.

Where can readers find you? www.epicallyromanticbyebonydreams, ebonysbbwnikki@yahoo.com, @ebondreams (twitter) http://www.facebook.com/AuthorNikkiPrince facebook

What genre's do you review? All romance except sweet romance and YA romance.

How would an author go about getting a feature, whether it be an interview, guest post, etc?

Let's share some firsts!

God I have so many faves!

Book you've re-read the most? Love Cherish Me by Rebecca Brandewyne

Favorite TV show? Walking Dead

Favorite color? Purple

What's your dream job? Writing but I don't really consider it a job as much as a dream come true.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, no money holding you back, where would you go? Travel all of Europe and Asia. Hell a world trip.

I really appreciate you answering my questions. It's great getting to know other bloggers that share the same interests as I do.
