Hello, I’m Tamaria Soana and today I’m sitting down with Alexandria Steven’s. How are you today?
I’m doing great and you can call me Alex.
Alex, I was hoping to ask you some questions today so the readers could get to know you better.
I’m ready when you are!
How does it feel to be a New York Times bestselling author?
It’s surreal really. I feel amazingly blessed that people keep reading my books.
If you could have two whole weeks for vacation and go and do anything you wanted, what and where would it be?
I guess it really wouldn’t matter as long it was warm and I was with my incredible husband, Hudson
That is very sweet. How long have you been married to Hudson?
Four amazing years. I met him through his sister when we were in college. I fell in love with the moment I laid eyes on him.
You’re older then Hudson correct?
Yes, my sister-in-law and friend call me a cougar all the time. I’m only three years older so I’m really just a cub!
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I guess it would be to be more outgoing. I usually keep to myself. I spend most of my time writing, or with my family and close friends.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, my cat Tigger. He is a huge orange and black cat that I found outside one day. He was never claimed so we kept him. He is very much a part of the family.
What do you do to relax after a bad day?
Take a long soak in the tub and have a glass of wine. Them maybe snuggle up with Hudson and watch a movie or escaping in a book.
What do you do when you are angry?
What do you do when you are angry?
I usually write. Getting lost in my characters helps to channel my feelings and I can see things more clearly.
Where do you want to be in your life ten years from now?
Where do you want to be in your life ten years from now?
Professional, still writing. I’ll keep spinning the stories as long as people keep reading them.
In my personal life, I would like to be raising children, and living out the American dream with my husband.
Being a romance author what do you consider romantic?
Being a romance author what do you consider romantic?
That differs from day to day. I may find that Hudson bringing me a snack and something to drink to my study on a night that I’ve been writing for hours romantic, or him taking me out to dinner so I don’t have to cook. My favorite is when he draws me a bath and forces me to relax. I guess I find a simple gesture that is driven by love very sexy and romantic.
I would to thank Alex for taking time out of her busy schedule to grant me this interview.
Thank you, Tamaria. I had fun.
Obsession is available through Beachwalk Press.
Until next time,
Storm Goddess
