Hard Core, by debut author Jennifer Lowery, is an action packed adventure with plenty of heat and heart pounding suspense. Even in the quieter moments of this story, there's stiill such an intensity that will make your palms sweat and heart beat a little bit quicker. The sexual tension between Alana and Cristian is hot enough to melt ice in an instant.  Hard Core is a fitting name for this book, because that's what Cristian is. He's not one to easily open and admit to feelings, or to let anyone in. First off, it's not part of his job. He's one of those guys that just gets the job done, but Alana took care of him in a weak moment, and depsite himself, he's drawn to her.

With a well written plot, great suspense, and a great woven romance, Hard Core is a book you shouldn't miss if you're a fan of military romantic suspense.
